4/2/11 The rest of the day

Got the fish cleaned decided we were going to the concert. Blood sugar before lunch was 78 nibbled as I packed a pic nic little bit of this little bit of that half a turkey sandwich 1 piece of bread. A light yogurt  taste of hummus taste of chicken salad a strawberry ect ect  took a little nap. We went to the vineyard for the concert got there early ha ha I thought the website said 3 it started at 4 but we got good seats and a good place to park. Blues was the theme it was nice. Larry bought a bottle of the bluberry merlot it is always very nice and he got a glass of the new port wine they have done. I had a few sips of each. The port was awesome ! The merlot is always good, so I had a snackie supper a few sips of wine chicken salad with lettuce and celery and a few red pepper strips. I had 5 of those pretzel nuggets with peanut butter Blood sugar before leaving was 96 Then had a few bites of salmon moose with lettuce or celery. Just nibbled nad listened to music it was nice Mrs Clouarte  went with us. We laughed and laughed. She can be a real stitch ! Had a diet coke. OMG it was the best diet coke I have had since San Antonio ! Tyring not to drink so many sodas and more water, thats going pretty well. Blood sugar when I got home about 7 was 116 which all things considered was pretty good.  Guess Ill see what it is before I go to bed. Had some sugar free jello nad cottage cheese when I got home had to take the meds. Will do better tomorrow... Well we are going to cook fish maybe I wont do better tomorrow... And a birthday party YIKES ! Trinity is 2 . Going with Lynn Monday she has a doctors appointment in Shreveport we always have a good time. Being diabetic has been an adjustment but having Lynn for support and help has been the biggest blessing ! Got to run for now .. Church in the morning and I need to paint my face green before I go to bed.
