3/31/11

Thursday fasting blood sugar was 115this morning. Had my yogurt took my meds, went back to bed. The littlle dog convinced me I needed to snuggle with him for just a while longer. Rotten dog ! Back up about 8 played on the computer for a while. Lazy today. We got ready to go to Wal Mart 2 loads of laundry. Lunch was a salmon patty and some cole slaw. Which should have been fine. Just not really hungry. Felt funky blood sugar 45 minutes after lunch was 92 had a square of chocolate. Off to Wally World. Found a cereal bar lower in carbs, higher in fiber special k of all things. The Activia yogurt light of course had fewer carbs. Love that stuff anyway. The vanilla is killer. So will tyr some new things. Also found some sugar free instant oatmeal lower in carbs apple and cinnamon. Got some unsweetened almond milk. Almost no carbs there it will be great for smoothies and maybe for pudding ? Gonna give it a try anyway, should also work on the oatmeal not adding any more carbs. Blood sugar before supper was 88 had part of a chicken tender while I cooked. Ha ha Alex had part of it too. We had breakfast for supper sausage grits eggs toast. Well I had a spoon or so of grits, and we had omeletes Mother had hers with just cheese ours had cheese and spinach. Had to get some green stuff in there somehow. Made some chicken salad have found that having that or tuna salad in the fridge makes life easier you can have a meal or a snack in a hurry few sticks of celery and your all set . Like to add plenty of veggies in my salads, onions celery apples in the chicken salad pickles in the tuna salad and some pecans sometimes.  have a nice scoop in half an avacado ! YUM   or with some nice lettuce.  Well I am going to go for now need to test one more time before bed. Want to know if I can have a snack or not ha ha ha
