LONG day Blood sugar this morning was 102  Went to the Brave Woman Bible study 6:30 to 7:30 this morning. Had a good time it has been very very good for me doing this. And I am making friends at Church... At least I  will know some people now. Mother has gone to West Virginia with Dan. She is doing well and having a great time. Dan wrecked his truck this afternoon but she had stayed home. No one was hurt just buggered up his new truck. I drove Frans car to Shreveport this morning. Richard had a little blister on his toe when we mowed the yard Saturday and yesterday he was in the ER they wanted to admit him but he went to Houston... We met Charlis and Dewey over there. The did admit him and this is something called a diabetic ulcer.. ? I had never heard of these ?? So I am going to look it up Richard has almost no feeling in his feet and did not realize he was hurt until the dog was licking his foot. The ulcers come from the inside out ? Thats what I hear but as I said going to look it up. Dont know if he will get to keep his toe ? Or if he will be able to go to Hawaii they planned to leave on Sunday.  Rode back with Fran and we talked a lot about diabetes and I suggested they go to a diabetes education course. It would help her and he needs a refresher. He needs to check his sugar too, he has not been testing it at all. He just has to get with the program and take charge of taking care of himself. He is a great guy and we just love him. Hate to see him shorten his life just being lax in taking care of this. So this really reinforces the fact that I need to keep it up and take care of my sugar. Keep it under control. Scary scary stuff this is. .... Got home about 12:30 rained all morning that was wonderful all the plants are smiling and happy 50 % chance that there will be more rain tomorrow. That would be good too. Working for Ms Tommy in the morning. That is nice she is a very nice lady to work for. Blood sugar was 81 before lunch had some salad with chicken salad... Then I had to lay down felt rotten... woke up about 3 and ran to the store made us a meatloaf for supper and some squash and onions green beans and a garden salad. Larry had some potato salad with his. Then I made a blackberry crisp. That was really good. Blood sugar 2 hours after supper was 93 and we had a nice walk took Alex he was very happy about that poor little guy he is not feeling well has had to have the benedryl for a couple of days. So here I am sitting in front of the computer end of the day.. Talk again soon ! Keep Richard in your prayers !
